Dal legno alla luce: l’anima ritrovata di una casa a Cortina d’Ampezzo
Trasformare un contenitore in un racconto. Far emergere una voce personale dentro una struttura standardizzata. Dare un nome al silenzio di uno spazio, fino a poterlo chiamare casa.
Nel progetto qui illustrato – firmato da Dall’albero all’arte – prende vita un gesto poetico e radicale: risvegliare una dimora a Cortina d’Ampezzo, sussurrandole nuovi significati. Nessuna rivoluzione apparente. La struttura rimane, ma cambia pelle: gli abiti diventano identità, le materie parlano, il tempo si stratifica.
Il processo è lungo, intimo, interamente curato “in casa”: si parte dallo studio di fattibilità, si passa per i bozzetti a mano, si modellano i render e, infine, si realizzano arredi sartoriali. Il filo conduttore? Il legno. Vissuto, recuperato, mai neutro. Larice, rovere, abete, cirmolo: ogni essenza porta con sé una storia, un odore, un suono.
Abitare non è solo questione di metri o funzioni. È appartenere. E il legno, quando viene ascoltato, sa fare promesse che durano nel tempo.

Turning a space into a story. Letting a personal voice emerge from a standard framework. Naming the silence of a place – until it feels like home. In the project featured on these pages, created by Dall’albero all’arte, a poetic, radical gesture comes to life: giving a new meaning to a home in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The structure stays the same, but it sheds its skin: garments become identity, materials speak, time layers. The process is long, intimate, and entirely “in-house” crafted – from feasibility studies, hand-drawn sketches, 3D renderings, and tailor-made furnishings. The common thread? Wood. Lived-in, reclaimed, never neutral. Larch, oak, fir, stone pine – each essence carries its own story, scent, and sound. Living in a space is not just about square meters or practical functions: it is about belonging. And wood, when truly listened to, knows how to make promises that stand the test of time. The kind that feel like home.
