Abies dà forma a un ventre abitativo dal gusto alpino, ma decisamente chic
In un mondo in cui l’interior design rischia di scivolare nell’artificio, ci sono realtà che continuano a partire dalla materia, dal suo carattere, dalla sua verità. Abies, azienda radicata a Cesiomaggiore, è una di queste.
Uno dei tratti più affascinanti del loro ultimo progetto – in partnership con il Laboratorio di Florian Strobl – è la ricerca stilistica che attinge agli elementi primordiali: la materia viva, calda e indomita entra negli habitat domestici trasformandosi in meraviglia. Nel living, legno, pietra e vetro scandiscono lo spazio con una forza primordiale, trasformandosi in superfici materiche che valorizzano tattilità e cromie: sono dettagli che rispettano l’essenza delle materie prime e accompagnano l’ambiente senza mai sovrastarlo. Il risultato è un habitat sofisticato e naturale al tempo stesso, contemporaneo ma privo di sovrastrutture, modellato attorno alla qualità intrinseca degli elementi.
D’altronde, ogni realizzazione firmata Abies condivide lo stesso denominatore comune: la natura entra nella vita quotidiana per farsi atmosfera. È un design che non ha bisogno di alzare la voce, perché è la materia a parlare.
E la materia – quella vera – non si stanca mai di essere contemporanea.

In a world where interior design often feels artificial, there are still companies that work with true raw materials. Abies, based in Cesiomaggiore, is one of them. One of the most captivating aspects of their latest project – developed in partnership with Florian Strobl’s studio – is the stylistic research that draws from primordial elements: living, warm, untamed matter enters domestic spaces and turns into wonder. In the living area, wood, stone, and glass articulate the space with a primal force, becoming tactile surfaces that enhance textures and colours; details that respect the essence of the raw materials and characterise the environment without ever overpowering it. The result is a habitat that is sophisticated and natural at once, contemporary yet free of superfluous details, shaped around the intrinsic quality of its elements. Every creation by Abies shares the same common thread: nature enters daily life and becomes atmosphere. It is a quiet kind of design, because the material speaks for itself. And real material – true material – never grows tired of being contemporary.
