Due interventi per una stessa idea di architettura: visione che si fa spazio
Ci sono progetti in cui l’architettura nasce da un’alleanza.
L’incontro tra l’archistar Enrico Muscioni e Store Builder si colloca in quello spazio sospeso in cui l’idea non è ancora forma e la costruzione non è ancora materia, ma entrambe condividono la stessa tensione verso il compimento. Da un lato, una ricerca per sottrazione: luce che incide, vuoti che respirano, densità essenziali. Dall’altro, la capacità di Store Builder di accogliere questa rarefazione e tradurla in costruzione senza tradirne la natura, mantenendone la fragilità. Non esecuzione, ma attraversamento: il progetto diventa realtà condivisa.
È in questo equilibrio che prendono forma i due interventi. Nella BKN301 Lounge lo spazio si rovescia: il soffitto diventa infrastruttura e immagine, una griglia sospesa costruisce una città astratta, una “città inversa” di geometrie leggere e luce controllata. Qui la visione di Enrico Muscioni trova nella precisione costruttiva di Store Builder la sua possibilità di esistere: il progetto diventa identità luminosa.
Nel secondo intervento, una villa anni Settanta viene riattivata come organismo vivo. La materia originaria – marmo, boiserie, tracce – non viene riscritta ma ascoltata, stratificando il tempo. I materiali contemporanei ricalibrano senza interrompere, aprendo continuità tra ciò che era e ciò che è. All’esterno, la piscina si dilata e diventa campo percettivo, soglia tra architettura e paesaggio. La casa resta riconoscibile, ma sospesa: una soglia tra tempi che si sfiorano.
E allora l’architettura non si chiude: resta in atto, a due voci.

Two interventions for one idea of architecture: vision becoming space
There are projects in which architecture is born from an alliance.
The encounter between archistar Enrico Muscioni and Store Builder belongs to that suspended place where the idea is not yet form and construction is not yet matter, yet both share the same tension towards completion. On one side, a search through subtraction: light that cuts, voids that breathe, essential densities. On the other, Store Builder’s ability to embrace this rarefaction and translate it into construction without betraying its nature, preserving its fragility. Not execution, but passage: the project becomes a shared reality.
It is within this balance that the two interventions take shape. In the BKN301 Lounge, space is overturned: the ceiling becomes both infrastructure and image, while a suspended grid constructs an abstract city, an “inverted city” of light geometries and controlled illumination. Here, Enrico Muscioni’s vision finds in Store Builder’s construction precision the possibility of existing: the project becomes a luminous identity.
In the second intervention, a 1970s villa is reactivated as a living organism. The original materiality – marble, boiserie, traces – is not rewritten but listened to, layering time. Contemporary materials recalibrate without interruption, opening up continuity between what was and what is. Outside, the swimming pool expands and becomes a perceptual field, a threshold between architecture and landscape. The house remains recognisable, yet suspended: a threshold between times that almost touch.
And so architecture does not close in on itself: it remains in motion, in two voices.
